  • Los Alamitos Creek Trail Entrance - This popular trail in south San Jose is found along the southwestern side of the Santa Teresa Foothills and is an easy trail for more hikers and walkers. 
  • Bamboo Fish - Excellent sushi right in your backyard practically. This is one of my favorites! They always have the rainbow roll! 
  • La Tarazza Grill - Did someone say Columbian food? This is an amazing restaurant close to the Almaden neighborhood - This is what they say to try and I have to agree!  Arepitas House offers a trio of yucca and cheese arepas, served with our signature sauce, creating a delightful blend of flavors and textures. The Bandeja Paisa is a hearty feast featuring rice, beans, crispy pork belly, sweet plantains, eggs, arepa, avocado, and Colombian sausage, offering a taste of Colombia on a plate. For those craving something savory, the Carne a la Llanera presents a succulent choice of braised beef, pork, or a mix, accompanied by potato, yucca, and sweet plantain, all simmered together for a deeply flavorful experience.

Almaden Real Estate

The neighborhood of Almaden shouldn't be confused the actual major neighborhood of Almaden Valley. It is a separate micro neighborhood with a lot of variaties of homes, prices and styles. From single and two story designs built in the 1960s to a few from the 2000s, there is probably something for everyone and because it's part of the Shadowbrook Cabana Club there are a ton of fun things to do right in the neighborhood.
