Almaden Valley Independence Day Parade

Let’s celebrate our country’s independence on July 4th with the 13th Annual TJ Martin community bike parade in 2023!

PARADE DETAILS

Bring your decorated bikes, scooters, strollers and dogs and join us for a kid-friendly parade around TJ Martin Park and Neighborhood!  This event is for you and your kids…you will be in the parade!

TO WALK OR RIDE IN THE PARADE, be at Colorview Court by 9:20am (before its too hot!) to grab some July 4th Bling and line up for our 9:30am start!  We will walk along the route below to patriotic tunes.

OR WATCH the PARADE, feel free to line the route to see the parade and cheer us on!

Parade route travels along Oakglen Way, South on Burchell Ave to Kinsport Lane and back around to head North on Burchell Ave to the playground at TJ Martin Park.

COMMUNITY FUN

Parade ends at the TJ Martin playground with:

• Otter pops and games: watermelon eating contest, water balloon toss and more (prizes for game winners!)
• Best Dressed/Most festive costume categories including best dressed adult, best dressed kid and best dressed dog!
